    Social Media :

MPC intends to use Social Media to promote the club in a public sphere. It is a cost-effective way of marketing the club, highlighting our members’ equestrian achievements and endorsing sponsors. It will also be used for members to connect and message each other with information relating to the club, about rallies uniforms, grounds access and general club information.

That MPC promote the club across two platforms:

Facebook : through a main Public Page and Private Facebook page with a single administrator.

The main page that is accessed by the public and a MPC Group which is closed. The closed group will include only current members and their families, instructors, essentially people with direct ongoing links with the club.

What can I post on social media?

Social media is a fantastic way that we build and connect the Pony Club community. Every word and image that you post sends a message about Pony Club. Pony Club has social media policies at the national, state and club level.

Inappropriate posts may result in disciplinary action under the PCA Member Protection Policy, which includes the Code of Conduct.

  • PCQ by-laws provide that, except where special rules permit otherwise, a rider shall be confined to the use of one mount and that a horse may only have one rider at any event.  A horse must be either owner-ridden or leased.

Any act or series of actions which, in the opinion of the club’s Chief Instructor, can clearly and without doubt be defined as abuse of horse or dangerous riding, shall be dealt with within the relevant PCQ Code of Conduct.

Similarly, any rider who affects the safety of any horse, rider or third party will be considered to have acted dangerously, and will be handled as determined by relevant Code of Conduct (up to and including withdrawal of membership).

  • Rally Days are generally held on the fourth Sunday of every month except for December. An annual two-day camp is held in late January.

The dates can vary for school holidays so please check the events tab on our website www.moggillponyclub.com or follow our Facebook page.

‍Rallies are open to all members, and you must attend a minimum of two rallies in twelve months to qualify for Pony Club State Competitions.

Please ensure you are familiar with the PCA National Gear Rules, please confirm with the Chief Instructor if you are unsure.

‍Rallies are designed to be fun and instructive. Riders are split into groups by ability and age so that everyone gets the most out of their day.

‍The schedule for the day is generally released prior and RSVP is required in advance. Please ensure you RSVP to allow for the safe enjoyment of all.

Assistance with set up and pack down at rallies is expected by all families attending as part of the general running of these events. This rally assistance does not form part of the 16 hours of volunteering.

Each family is expected to assist through out the year with rally canteen volunteering which counts towards your volunteer hours.
